Dangerous Alkaholik Mice Sitting on Cee-lo
Ass-celebrating Hip-Hop Beef today. What's Danger Mouse sitting on?
'What You Sitting On (DM's 26 Remix)' by DJ Danger Mouse featuring Tha Alkaholiks, Jemini and Cee-lo from 2004's Twenty Six Inch EP
Who could resist a track with an uptempo beat by Danger Mouse (of Grey Album fame), hook by Cee-Lo (ex. Goodie MOB) and verses by Tha Liks? Oh, and Jemini (who doesn't really impress me) is on here too.
What exactly is 26 inches seems to be up for grabs. Tha Liks all rhyme about big asses. Cee-Lo is talking about 26 inch spinner rims. So in other words, all Hip-Hop angles are covered. The only thing keeping this track from classic status is the general weakness of the Alkaholiks and the glaring lack of a verse from Cee-lo. DM probably knew that Cee-lo would overshadow every other MC on the track.
(Unfortunately, despite a Sadat X appearance, the rest of the Twenty Six EP isn't really all that.)
