This Hummer Is Going To Make You Freak
Some Audio AND Video Beef for you today. I was watching the Tivo and saw one of those psychedelic new Hummer commercials. You know, the ones for the NEW StupidSport Utility Truck.
Anyway, this commercial had a smoking electro track for the music. I knew I had heard it before, and when the vocal kicked in I figured out that it was :

What's really confusing about this is.. how does this sell Hummers? Sure, it's a slammin' track, but is the Hummer target market really a Warp Records listener? Has the world gone topsy turvey? That said, I do want some of what the official video for this song is selling!
